Heather’s Heavenly Sweets

Established in 2015, Heather’s Heavenly Sweets specializes in decorative cakes and cookies. I, Heather Christine, the founder of Heather’s Heavenly Sweets, grew up in a small town on Long Island where I always applied my artistic creativity to various projects. My passion for decorating cakes and other unique treats began when I worked for a local ice cream shop. I designed elegant imagery on the items they sold, boosting sales and inquiries. Once the owner welcomed ice-cream cakes to the inventory, he gave me the sole responsibility of cake decorator for five years.

I decided to expand my culinary skillset, and with help from my sisters, I learned the basics of baking.  Through trial and error, and supportive feedback from family and friends, I perfected the process. Once I worked with sugar and fondant to make intricate children-themed designs for my nieces and nephews, I knew this was the path I had to follow. My family encouraged me to take the next step as they felt the delicious creations were beautiful works of art that deserved a clientele.  It was at that time I took a risk, and Heather’s Heavenly Sweets was born!

I continue to grow as a cake artist and accept any challenges presented before me!
